Arrest
A warrant is not needed for
arrest and it can be carried out by anyone if a person is in the act of
committing an offence or there are reasonable grounds to suspect someone
is committing an offence.
Anyone may carry out an
arrest on someone who is guilty or suspected of guilt of an arrestable
offence.
A constable may arrest
without a warrant anyone about to commit an arrestable offence of anyone
suspected to be about to commit one.
