Drinking and driving offences (Drunk Driving) are amongst the more serious motoring offence cases and can in certain circumstances attract imprisonment as well as the (mandatory) disqualification from driving; a prosecution can be brought on the basis of alcohol content in your breath, blood or urine, as well as a refusal to supply a specimen without reasonable excuse; a prosecution can also be brought if it is alleged that you were 'in charge' of a stationary vehicle with excess alcohol in your system; it is vital that you first seek legal advice from us whilst at the police station in case of this type.
