Motoring Offences
The Motor Offences department is headed by two of the most experienced Motoring Law solicitors, Peter Grogan and Isaac Mirza have, between them, decades of experience both of advising in relation to Motoring law cases and, at the rather sharper end of things, conducting contested court hearings; Peter and Isaac have a wealth of advocacy experience and undertake all of their own advocacy in relation to road traffic cases, whether contested or uncontested.
The Motoring Offences team provides accurate and well-considered motoring law advice, including legal representation when required at a police station in relation to all aspects of motoring law investigations and proceedings and, in this field more than any other, we recognise our clients' need to seek urgent, preliminary telephone advice as soon as the problem arises - because of that we ensure that one or other of the members of the team are contactable, by phone, or email, on a 24 hours a day basis.
We are able to assist in connection with all aspects of a motoring law case commencing from the point at which you suspect you have been 'flashed' by a speed camera or have been required to 'produce documents', at a police interview, whether at a police station or otherwise, receipt of a Notice of Intended Prosecution - through to the issue of criminal proceedings, and advising you about practice, procedure, evidence and likely penalties and including, of course, the deployment of first-class advocacy skills and the application of robust defensive techniques, where appropriate.
We can provide expert Motoring Law advice in connection with the following (the list is not exhaustive):
