Parole
Review/Refusal
All prisoners
subject to parole are entitled to submit representations to
the Parole Board, and in some case are entitled to an oral hearing.
Up to 18 documents and reports can be contained in your Parole
Dossier and we will thoroughly review these documents before
making representations, on your behalf, to the Parole Board.
A solicitor from our Prison Law Department, experienced in parole
applications, will represent you personally at any oral hearing.
Strictly
there is no right of appeal against a decision to refuse parole
but it may be possible to challenge the decision by an action
for judicial review in certain circumstances. Again, it is vital
to receive legal advice.
